Web 2.0 is the second generation of the World Wide Web. It is the movement of social networking sites, communication tools and web applications. Because of this shareable content Web 2.0 has facilitated creativity, information sharing and collaboration among users. The shift from read only webpages has encouraged user interaction and a more open approach to the Internet.
